Our Mission
The WEBE Institute supports and informs Black women and their communities through their health journey before, during, and after pregnancy.
Our work is rooted in fostering authentic relationships, leveraging shared cultural knowledge, and providing evidence-based health information to drive meaningful change. By equipping Black women with the tools to overcome barriers to their health, we ensure they receive and fully benefit from a lifetime of maximized health outcomes.
Meet the Team
With over 20 years of collective experience in medicine, public health, and academics, combined with our lived experience as Black women, we are experts in direct service to Black women and solving the social and health problems that matter most to our community. We believe that change occurs through intentional connection and collective impact.
